Terms And Conditions

1. The Agreement

These Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”) govern all tours, safaris, mountain climbs, and related services provided by Tanzania Parks Adventure. By making a reservation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms on your own behalf and on behalf of all travelers in your party.

If booking for a group, the “Group Leader” accepts full responsibility for communicating all information and these Terms to other participants. Tanzania Parks Adventure assumes all participants have reviewed and accepted these Terms upon receipt of a deposit.

2. Deposits & Final Payment

To confirm a reservation, a 30% deposit of the total tour cost is required. This allows us to secure essential permits (TANAPA/NCAA), accommodations, and logistics.

Final Balance: The remaining 70% must be paid at least 21 days prior to the tour start date.

Payment Conditions: All payments must be made net of bank fees or credit card surcharges. We are not responsible for deductions made by intermediary financial institutions.

Late Payment: Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in the cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of the deposit.

3. Booking Confirmation

A booking is officially confirmed only when the deposit is received and Tanzania Parks Adventure issues a written confirmation via email.

Eligibility: Clients must be 18 years or older to book.

Accuracy: The Group Leader warrants that all supplied information (passport details, etc.) is complete and accurate

Personal liability.

6. Medical Policies & Fitness

Clients must be medically fit for their chosen adventure.

Responsibility: You must consult a doctor regarding vaccinations and fitness levels before travel. You must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions.

Remote Locations: Our tours often operate in remote areas where medical facilities may not meet international standards and evacuation can be time-consuming. We do not guarantee the quality of medical care in these regions.

7. Prices, Surcharges & Taxes

Tour prices are subject to change due to fluctuations in government park fees, taxes, fuel costs, or exchange rates.

Client Rights: If a price increase occurs, you may accept the revised price or cancel the booking without penalty. Failure to respond within 14 days of notification constitutes acceptance of the new price.

8. Changes & Unused Services

Itinerary Adjustments: We reserve the right to modify routes, accommodations, or vehicles for safety, weather, or operational reasons.

Unused Services: No refunds are provided for voluntarily missed meals, activities, or accommodation.

Guide Authority: On mountain climbs, the guide’s decision to terminate a summit attempt due to health or safety is final and non-refundable.

9. Risk and Conduct

By booking, you acknowledge the inherent risks of wildlife encounters, high-altitude trekking, and travel on rural roads.

Client Conduct: We reserve the right to terminate your tour without refund if you violate local laws, ignore guide instructions, or endanger the group or staff.

Damage: Clients are liable for any damage caused to equipment, vehicles, or accommodations through misconduct.

10. Third-Party Suppliers

We act as an agent for hotels, airlines, and independent contractors. Tanzania Parks Adventure is not responsible for the errors, delays, or negligence of these independent suppliers. All suppliers operate under the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.

11. Liability & Force Majeure

Liability: Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by Tanzanian law. We are not liable for indirect losses, theft of personal property, or injury caused by client negligence.

Force Majeure: We are not liable for failure to perform due to "Acts of God," including natural disasters, political instability, pandemics, or mechanical breakdowns. No refunds or compensation are issued in these circumstances.

12. Images & Marketing

Unless requested otherwise before the tour, you grant Tanzania Parks Adventure a royalty-free, perpetual license to use photographs or videos taken during the trip for marketing and social media purposes.

13. Complaints & Governing Law

Complaints must be reported immediately to your guide. Formal written complaints must be submitted within 30 days of the tour's end. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
